In the Installation Raumstation by Miriam Laussegger the space of >RAUMSTATION itself is used as material to divide the pictures in all shades from black, gray to white. The work Untitled by Sascha Alexandra Zaitseva is formed by the reference to the disposable product – the toilet paper roll. The single elements of the ceramic column build the hand-turned counterpart of the industrially manufactured good of everyday life. The installation Black/White by Andrea Heyer refers to the Greek singer Nana Mouskouri. The symbols the black glasses and the white female dress represent the combination of education with femininity. The video / sound / ready made / installation ‘SHUTDOWN’ by Peter Kraus generates an atmosphere of the uncanny, by filming neglected rooms of an abandoned airport in Cuba, that was closed in the 90’s. His perspective of camera work suggests the viewer that he himself is the actor of its perception while exploring unknown terrain.
